Outbound manufactured an laptop computers from December 1991 to December 1992, long before MacOS licensing was available. The Outbound notebooks raised the bar on what was expected from a laptop and outperformed Apple's Macintosh Portable. But PowerBook100 forced Outbound out of business on December 8, 1992.

My Freestyle
Assistive Technology developed and sold "tablet" Mac clones with touch-sensitive screens, voice activation, and a customized interface for people with special needs. When MacOS licensing was discontinued the company continued to produce the Freestyle using the version of MacOS that was available prior to discontinuation, but eventually transitioned to Windows-based tablets. Freestyle, created in partnership with Frog design.
